A full lad's lunch with canapes, a delicious main thanks to Mort & Co, dessert and beverages included and a catch-up with Peter FitzSimons and Samantha Heathwood. Have we sold you yet? Ladies, don't be fooled by the title. You won't miss out on the delicious Mort & Co beef because this lunch isn't just for the lad's.

The lunch is part of Unleash the Beast, a writing and wellbeing symposium, to be held in Toowoomba on October 10, 2018. Find more information on Unleash the Beast here >>

Peter FitzSimons is a well-respected columnist for The Sydney Morning Herald and Sun-Herald, and has interviewed famous people around the world from George Bush to Diego Maradona. He is also the author of 25 best-selling books, and the biographer of World Cup winning Wallaby captains, Nick Farr-Jones and John Eales, former Opposition Leader Kim Beazley, boxer Les Darcy, aviator Sir Charles Kingsford Smith, war heroine Nancy Wake and Antarctic explorer Sir Douglas Mawson. In 2001 he was Australia's biggest selling non-fiction author, and duplicated that feat in 2004 with his book on Kokoda.

If you would like to join Fitzy at Fitzy's for the Mort & Co Lad's Lunch, tickets are available now. Lifeline Darling Downs and South West QLD have been chosen as the beneficiary of this event, with funds raised to provide free counselling services for anyone in the community who needs it.
