Celebrate St Patrick's Day in Toowoomba on Sunday 17th.
The Darling Downs Irish Club invites everyone to participate in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Toowoomba.
Assemble from 10am to commence parade at 10:30am in the carpark at rear of Irish Club Hotel – entrance from Station St Toowoomba.
Route of parade: Station St left into Margaret St, left into Ruthven St, left into Russell St back to Irish Club Hotel carpark in Station St.
Parade will be led by a Police escort, followed by the Town Crier with music by the Caledonian Pipe Band.
Then children with (toy) snakes and St Patrick himself (a.k.a. Peter Kenny) will drive away the snakes.
The Darling Downs Irish Club (DDIC) President Tomas Guerin will carry the Irish Flag.
Public are welcome and encouraged to assemble behind the DDIC Banner or the banners of any of the four provinces of Ireland: Leinster, Connaught, Munster and Ulster.
