To:Sunday 16 September 2018
Time:10:30am - 01:30pm Sunday 21 April 2019
Location:Crows Nest Regional Art Gallery, Cnr New England Highway & William Street, Crows Nest, QLD 4355 Australia

This exhibition is comprised of exquisite graphite drawings that explore the often unseen spaces of the natural world and whom resides there. Tina Cherry is an established artist who lives and creates in Crows Nest, very close to some of our distinct natural areas and national parks from which her work is informed.

“ I spy.. comes from the appreciation for that which resides in unseen spaces, that dwells within the constructed gaps of the industrial complex, or within the cracks and crevasses of organic habitats. My eye spies on those that reside obscurely there within, or upon, the veiled world that is ambiguous. What I spy with my little eye, and that which spies on me, will be seen, and shown, revealing the presence that exists as I.” Tina Cherry

OPENING EVENT:  Sunday 9 September, 2018 - 1.30pm-3.30pm. Refreshments provided and all are welcome to attend and meet the artist.
