Brush Strokes determined by Mother Nature is a new body of work by local artist Ellena Van Riet. The artist sees her works as physical manifestations of her emotions and feelings into abstract images. By layering multimedia materials, the artist explores colour, shapes and form. Raw edges of handmade paper add to the intricacy of the works, which are intended to exude light. Van Riet’s gestural forms invite emotional responses.

Please join us for the Opening & Artist Talk on Sunday 26 May @ 1.30pm.
This is a free event and all are welcome. RSVP to the Gallery by noon Wednesday 22 May.

Exhibition on display 25 May to 23 June 2019.
This exhibition is part of the Cam Robertson Gallery exhibition program that showcases the work of artists, curators and arts organisations in the Toowoomba Region.
