A new body of work by local artist Roslyn Hartwig exploring memory and the essence of landscape. Hartwig’s exploration has resulted in a collection of watercolours that are quasi realistic and textural landscapes that are unique. While her landscapes do not depict a particular place, they are suggestive of areas within the world we live. The works draw on past experience, both her own and the viewers, in order to make connections with familiar places. Together they build a record of her journey so far, while firmly establishing the future direction of her paintings.

Exhibition on display: Saturday 3 October - Sunday 1 November 2020
